About the role

Our client is looking to hire a Content Associate who is highly motivated and organized to manage their content strategy and execution. An ideal candidate should specialize in writing engaging content that demonstrates a connection between our client’s brand and their audience. You should have a firm grasp of grammar, punctuation, and error-free spelling.


What do you need to be considered successful?

To be successful in this role, you should have a relevant and up-to-date understanding of the industry’s trends. You will be responsible for the following:

  • Writing, reviewing, editing, and updating content for company websites, blogs, marketing materials, and social media platforms.
  • Set, plan, and implement content-driven social media and communication campaigns
  • Improving the brand's awareness using digital media channels such as Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and the website.
  • Using social media to create and engage our community, respond to questions, and promote company initiatives.
  • Support in the creation of media productions such as docuseries for the fund.
  • Ensuring brand consistency across all digital media channels.
  • Provide engaging text as well as manage the content calendar for all digital media platforms
  • Assisting the creative team with the design of promotional materials.
  • Organize and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness
  • Remaining up-to-date with the latest digital media trends and design technology available
  • Creating exciting trends around our work that captivate the public
  • Collaborating with internal departments to establish campaign objectives, complete tasks, and identify and solve problems.

How Important are you to the bottom line?

You will be responsible for producing and publishing relevant content for our client. You will take complex, technical concepts and explain them to beginners, but also write technically enough to inspire professionals. You understand the value in SEO and know how to drive action with engaging fact-checked content. 

The biggest problem-solving duties on the Job

You will be required to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and perform other assigned duties. This job entails occasional travel and a full-time commitment.

What do you need to have done In your career?

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in Content Creation, Marketing, Communications, Community Management, Media, or a related field preferred
  • Familiarity with paid social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube.
  • Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys, etc)
  • Knowledge on use of productivity tools (including Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and online
  • Proven success designing and executing marketing and communications strategies and campaigns
  • Up to date on industry trends and able to stay ahead of the curve
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills and ability to meet deadlines
