About the role

They are looking to hire a Head Of Business Growth who will lead Kippa’s Partnership efforts and sales team for their Finance product (Agency Banking + Business Banking)

What do you need to be considered successful?

You will establish the business as a market and thought leader and open avenues for identifying potential sales and revenue generation opportunities. You will also be responsible for the following:

1. Develop and execute a Sales and distribution strategy for Kippa’s products

  • As the leader of the sales organization, you are responsible for building a world-class GTM and distribution strategy for Kippa’s products across the country, starting with our finance product.
  • You will create and implement sales action plans that incorporate key actions that set KPIs for the business.
  • You will be responsible for hiring and training managers across different states, assessing vendors, and overseeing training for sales agents.
  • You will drive the attainment of overall company revenue and customer growth goals.

2. Performance monitoring of sales

  • You will report directly to the President on weekly, monthly, and quarterly results from the on-the-ground sales efforts.
  • You will work closely with product, customer success, marketing, and growth to identify & execute customer growth & retention.
  • You will be responsible for working directly with the Growth Product Manager to unlock insights from data and make business recommendations.
  • You will identify areas of improvement in sales strategies to establish actionable insights for improving sales and business profits.
  • You will estimate sales volume and profit for existing and new products, informing budget allocation.

3. Analyze our current acquisition and retention strategies, research competitors, and talk to our customers to help inform your strategy.

4. Merchant Conversion; own and improve the strategy for converting our prospects into customers.

5. Working closely with the Growth team to identify the funnel health of different aspects of the business, and build retention programs to drive cross-selling of Kippa products and enhance LTV

How important are you to the bottomline?

As a Head Of Business Growth at Kippa, you will manage key relationships on behalf of Kippa by building strong relationships with partners and consumers and regularly interacting with them by attending sales workshops & seminars, hosting events, hosting sales events for the business’s product, playing an active role in industry organizations, and so forth.

Biggest problem-solving duties on the job

In this capacity, you will conduct regular and consistent research on the latest market best practices and trends to keep the business ahead of the curve and other players.

What do you need to have done in your career?

  • Proven sales experience in meeting and exceeding set sales targets
  • Previous experience as a sales manager or sales and marketing executive developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
  • Experience using any viable CRM and Sales Analytics tools to drive the sales process from plan to close intelligently
  • In-depth understanding of analytics tools (Google Analytics, Matomo, Fathom Analytics, etc.)
  • Ability to communicate, present, and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Not afraid of rolling up their sleeves and getting their hands dirty with minute details.
  • Excellent problem-solving, listening, communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • Multi-tasking abilities
