Product Marketing Manager
Pharmaurn is making it easy for Africans to get their medication whenever and wherever they need them. Their mission is to increase access to medication, by providing a seamless process for sourcing and delivering authentic medication to customers.
About the role
Our client is seeking to hire a Product Marketing Manager to join their Marketing Team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing product marketing strategies (pricing, advertising, product launching), crafting compelling messages across marketing channels (landing pages, ad campaigns), and Implementing online and offline marketing strategies.
They are looking for a marketer who is a self-starter, a great copywriter, and who will be able to properly position Pharmarun in a clear and attractive way.
This role will work directly with the Business, Products & Marketing team and reports to the Chief Products Officer.

To be successful in this role, you should be enthusiastic about marketing, and have a high disposition for marketing online and offline, and have a strong passion for building and promoting product. As a Product Marketing Manager at Pharmarun, your main duties will include:
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns for each product, using a combination of online and offline marketing channels.
- Identify key features in products that will appeal to customers and work with the product team to prioritize these features in the product roadmap.
- Analyze product performance and present weekly reports to the team, using data to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with the marketing department to develop messaging and positioning for each product, based on customer insights and market trends.
- Conduct market research to uncover customer and market insights that influence the product roadmap.
- Develop consumer-based marketing and branding strategies, as well as analyzing existing marketing strategies to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Write marketing literature for company brochures and press releases to ensure consistency in messaging and branding.
- Establish targeted customer and industry partnership networks to expand their reach and brand awareness.
- Incorporate user-experience feedback in product updates and innovation to ensure that we are meeting the needs of our customers.
- Perform competitor analysis to identify areas where we can improve and gain a larger market share.
- Drive go-to-market planning and execution, including creating and deploying strategies for new product releases.
- Develop and manage email marketing campaigns to engage customers and drive revenue.
- Create content for their website and social media channels to engage with their target audience and increase brand awareness.
- Leverage digital marketing channels (e.g. social media, search engine marketing) to drive traffic and increase conversion rates.
- Develop and manage offline marketing campaigns (e.g. print ads, events) to reach new customers and increase brand awareness.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales materials and enablement tools that support the sales process.

What you need to have done in your career?
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business development, or similar.
- 3-5 years of experience as a product marketing manager or digital marketer in a related industry.
- Proficiency in CRM and marketing software, such as Hubspot,sales force, Mailchimp etc.
- Advanced knowledge of consumer behavior sciences and marketing strategies.
- Demonstrable experience in product marketing and innovation.
- Exceptional ability to increase competitiveness and market share.
- Ability to develop strong customer relations and feedback channels.
- Advanced competency in researching market trends and consumer behavior.
- Ability to identify strategic industry partnerships and build effective networks
- Demonstrable experience in digital marketing implementation on Meta sites and SEM on Google
- Reporting and documentation skills
- Positive, persuasive communicator.
