Role Overview: As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient operations at the Lagos, Nigeria base for CustomQuo. You will work with tailor partners, vendors, and internal CustomQuo staff to offer a premium final product to CustomQuo customers. You will be responsible for ensuring that CustomQuo vendors and employees meet our high standards in their work.

Reporting Structure: This role reports to the CEO of CustomQuo.

  • Work with Customer Care to receive customer orders and requested fabric
  • Work with fabric vendors to source fabric necessary for CustomQuo clothing
  • Select appropriate tailor partners for CustomQuo customer orders
  • Follow CustomQuo order process for each customer order
  • Coordinate delivery of all fabrics, clothing items, and other supplies for CustomQuo
  • Ensure on-time delivery of all fabric and all customer clothing
  • Receive, store, and organize customer orders to prepare for delivery to the US
  • Negotiate best pricing for fabrics, clothing, and other supplies for CustomQuo
  • Ensure on-time payment to all vendors
  • Track all expenditures to vendors
  • Compile and deliver financial reports on all expenditures to CEO on weekly and monthly basis
  • Work with Customer Care to ensure clothing is produced to customer satisfaction prior to delivery to US base of operation
  • Ensure accurate customer and order information is entered into CustomQuo CRM system at all times
  • Supervise and certify work of CustomQuo tailors
  • Perform quality assurance checks of customer garments when received from tailors as necessary
  • Supervise and certify work of Quality Assurance Personnel of CustomQuo
  • Ship all customer clothing to US base of operations
  • Improve CustomQuo order process to ensure efficiency, cost-savings, and customer satisfaction

Skills, Requirements & Abilities:

  • University degree required, preferably in business or logistics
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management
  • Strong managerial skills
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Comfort with negotiation
  • Familiar with Google Meets, Zoom, and comfort interacting on video call
  • Availability for work from 8 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday and some Saturdays
  • Must live in Lagos, Nigeria and be able to travel around Lagos efficiently
  • Ability to multitask
  • Strong mathematical skills are required
  • Proficiency with Google Documents suite
  • Has strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to accurately read a measuring tape (measurement test may be given)
  • Good color perception (color test may be given)
  • Basic knowledge of sewing and garment production is a plus
